Warren Patch Stitched Coat

BACKSTORY

This piece began with a secondhand canvas chore coat as its base. The collar and pocket flaps have been reworked with vintage chocolate-brown corduroy, lovingly sourced from a dear friend’s grandmother. Hand-sewn red blanket stitching adds a bold touch. Each patch and pennant collaged onto the jacket is authentic vintage, intentionally sourced from across the U.S. from my NYC studio (apartment).

A note on secondhand and vintage elements: Your piece may show subtle signs of its age. These items have lived many a life before taking on their current form. The natural wear and tear they carry is evidence of the passage of time and their unique backstories.
