POLKA DOT POUND CAKE Groove Tube

A very special one-of-a-kind Groove Tube lamp featuring a wraparound altar for your favorite trinkets and baubles. The base is a hand-painted maroon, cream, and metallic silver with bright red polka dots and paired with a cherry red wax and clear master fluid.

Every Groove Tube is cast from an original hand-sculpted form right in my kitchen. I work with repurposed lava lamp globes, altering their contents to bring a slower tempo and rhythmic energy to a space. Each lamp’s cord is wrapped in textiles sourced from sustainable recycling programs across NYC.

Groove Tubes have a solid, weighty feel because I like it when things are heavy.
