PEACEFUL MOOD Groove Tube

A hand-sculpted peace emblem sits alongside real functioning mood rings that shift color as your Groove Tube heats up. Baby pink base with hand-gilded imitation gold leaf adornment. Custom made globe featuring pink wax and blue fluid.

Groove Tubes are handmade lava-lamp objects by Shae Studio.

Each piece is made over several weeks in Shae's tiny Brooklyn studio. Cast in solid concrete from an original sculpted form, each Groove Tube is finished and adorned entirely by hand.

Existing lava lamp globes are carefully reworked and individually tuned, adjusting their contents to create a unique flow.

Groove Tubes are heavy tabletop lighting sculptures designed to slow the pace of a space.

A light bulb is included with each piece.

Each Groove Tube is made entirely by hand, making every piece inherently one of a kind. Subtle variations in texture, color, surface, casting, and adornment are unique to each object and reflect the materials, process, and hands that brought it into being.

All orders are final sale due to the one-of-a-kind and handmade nature of each piece. Your support allows me to continue making and evolving the Groove Tube and I love you for it.

Please note: Groove Tubes are designed specifically for North American power systems (120V/60Hz) and are only intended for use in the United States and Canada. I can only promise that your Groove Tube will operate properly within these locations as they have been designed and tested for these electrical standards only. However - I am actively researching how to safely adapt future Groove Tubes for other power systems around the world so please stay tuned.
