HOW IT WORKS
1. Select your signature shape
2. Pick your hand-painted base color
3. Select your tube’s fluid & wax combination
Cord wraps are subject to the artist’s discretion and chosen from a rotating stock of surplus textiles. Each will be thoughtfully matched to complement your piece.
I make your Groove Tube by hand in my NYC studio (apartment), a process that takes up to 4-6 weeks from start to finish.
I call these handmade lighting sculptures Groove Tubes and I cast each one from an original hand-sculpted form right in my kitchen. I work with repurposed lava lamp globes, altering their contents to bring a slower tempo and rhythmic energy to a space. Each lamp’s cord is wrapped in textiles sourced from sustainable recycling programs across NYC.
Groove Tubes have a solid, weighty feel because personally I like it when things are really heavy.
Light bulb included.

Each Groove Tube is handmade in my NYC studio.
Subtle variations and imperfections are an intentional part of the process and little reminders that your piece was shaped by human hands and not mass-produced in a factory.
All orders are final sale due to the human and handmade nature of every piece. Your support sustains this artistic practice and I love you for it.
Orders will be thoughtfully prepared and shipped within 4-6 weeks.
Please note: I can only ship Groove Tubes within North America and Taiwan due to the differences in plug shapes and standard voltages from country to country but I am actively researching how to tailor them to different countries worldwide so please stay tuned!
