LITTLE GLOB Groove Tube

A one-of-a-kind Groove Tube that turned out just a little smaller than expected. The base is painted in deep chartreuse with plum and baby blue stripes, paired with a custom globe featuring purple wax in clear fluid.

Every Groove Tube is cast from an original hand-sculpted form right in my kitchen. I work with repurposed lava lamp globes, altering their contents to bring a slower tempo and rhythmic energy to a space. Each lamp’s cord is wrapped in textiles sourced from sustainable recycling programs across NYC.

Groove Tubes have a solid, weighty feel because I like it when things are heavy.

Light bulb included.

Please note that each Groove Tube is handmade in my NYC studio (apartment). Subtle imperfections may appear, they're an intentional part of the process, small signs that your piece was shaped by human hands, not stamped out by a machine in a distant factory.
