This piece tells 50 distinct stories, each originating from a different location in time. Film slides—tiny, transparent photographs mounted on a cardboard frame—were once used in the mid-20th century for projecting vivid images onto a screen. Known for their rich color and fine detail, each slide in this creation is accompanied by handwritten notes describing its contents. Slides are chain-knitted together with silver jump rings. This purse reaches its peak beauty when it accompanies you outside on a sunny day.
